Cast on 9 stitches
rows 1-3:  knit 3 slip 1 bead k1 b1 k1 b1 k1 b1 knit last 3 stitches
rows 4-6:  k3 b2 k1 b2 k1 b2 k1 b2 k3
rows 6-9 :  k3 b3 k1 b3 k1 b3 k1 b3 k3
rows 9-12:  k3 b4 k1 b4 k1 b4 k1 b4 k3
rows 12-18:  k3 b5 k1 b5 k1 b5 k1 b5 k3
rows 18-21: as for rows 9-12
rows 21-24: as for rows 6-9
rows 24-27: as for rows 3-6
rows 27-30: as for rows 1-3
Cast off.

Make two and attach to ear wire for earrings.
